 | | | Hottest Sales & Styles Watch Review – Croton 1650 Feet
Dive Watch CA301062SSGY
by: Zai Zhu
One of my very favorite things to do is swim. But its not
just swimming
I enjoy, its anything having to do with the water, whether
it’s on the
hot sands off the Atlantic coast, skiing on the ocean’s
surface or
feverishly pounding Olympic-sized pools with breast stroke after breast
stroke.
No matter what kind of water sporting events you
enjoy—snorkeling,
deep-sea diving, scuba diving, sailing or ocean dwelling—your
best
swimming companion could very well be the Croton 1650 Feet Dive Watch,
primarily due to its amazing water resistance capacity.
To say that 1650 feet is deep is to state the
blatantly obvious. In
light of this, perhaps the best way to illustrate such a depth is by
offering a record-breaking feat. According to the Guinness Book of
World Records, the deepest dive with scuba gear is 437 feet off the
coast of the Bahamas. If you don’t think this is deep,
consider what
Open Water Sport Diver Manual has to say about going deeper than 250
feet, saying “…the average diver is more or less
useless and becomes a
safety menace to himself and others.” In other words, the
Croton 1650
can withstand what the human body cannot!
Some of the other impressive features of the Croton
CA301062SSGY
include the band, which is stainless steel with a diver’s
clasp and
safety lock. This truly is a strong lock that’s a bit
difficult to
latch into place and equally as difficult to take off. However, if
you’re a swimmer, this is exactly what you want (as anyone
who has lost
his or her watch while swimming will tell you).
Outside of the Croton 1650 Feet Dive
Watch’s water resistant
capability that places it in the upper echelon of high-end watches
(e.g. Tag Heuer), its sleek design is impressive as well. The luminous
hands and number markings seem to harness light for a generous amount
of time. What’s lacking in this model, I find, is the
sweeping second
hand that I always look for in watches. However, because this model has
a quartz movement, which traditionally keeps better time than
automatics, it offsets the drawback of not having a sweeping second
hand (the “drawback”—if it can be called
that—being that I find
sweeping second hands more pleasing to look at).
Another nice thing about this watch is the weight
it has. At the
rock bottom price of $170, I was expecting it to be on the lighter
side, but the weight is considerable (not as much as other Ceylon
watches I’ve tried, but at 5.9 ounces, it’s enough
weight to satisfy).
Some other features: a unidirectional rotating
bezel with a
luminous marker at the top of the bezel; the case material is stainless
steel with a screw down case back (I like exhibition back’s
more, but
considering it’s the back of the watch, it’s really
a non-issue) with
dimensions of 42 mm in diameter and half an inch in thickness.
The dial of the watch has a nice textured look to
it, with a
zigzag, vertical design. It’s a nice embellishment of the
dial because
it gives it a dual color look when light reflects off it (i.e. the
color of the face is black but if light hits it just right, it has a
light grayish hue). The watch is also available with a white face.
Once again, this Croton watch is a great watch for
the money and a
watch that anyone would enjoy. However, its specs are geared for
swimming enthusiasts, all of whom are sure to be impressed by its
performance for many laps to come.

Review of the JVC Digital Video Camera
by: Morgan Hamilton
My brother is an amateur film-maker. It was he who introduced
me to the
wonderful JVC digital video camera. He loved it so much that I was
tempted to buy one of my own. After a few years I finally had enough
dough to purchase my very own JVC digital video camera. I had no idea
that I would be in for quite a surprise.
After buying it I began a thrilling adventure as an
amateur
film-maker. The quality you get from this amazing camera was close to
that of feature length films made in Hollywood. As long as you have
proper lighting, and acquire a competent sound boom, you can make a
decent movie with the help of a JVC digital video camera. All at the
cost of the camcorder and the editing software needed to put your movie
together.
I become hooked with the idea of being a film-maker
after trying
out my JVC digital video camera. Watching movies is great, but it pales
in comparison to the thrill you can get from making your own movie. I
was also able to involve my fiend’s in my new found hobby.
We would fashion out a script and with my JVC
digital video camera
and a few necessary filming equipment, we were on our way in making a
potential blockbuster. It usually takes a couple of weeks to finish a
respectable twenty minute film.
We would then get together and watch the finished
product and try
to figure out ways to improve our project. The JVC digital video camera
is also excellent for filming the final project. WE entered our project
in a amateur movie contest and although we have yet to win a
competition our work elicited a good bit of encouraging feedback.

Review of Spelling Games for Kids
by: Morgan Hamilton
Spelling games for kids, like all education, prepares our
children for
the real world. Though the formal education ends with a high school or
college degree, the informal education continues until the end of
one’s
days. While it comes to starting the learning process, there are
certain basic qualities to develop in the children. They quickly
identify the relationship between different things they find in nature
and they begin to approach problems in a logic way. In the age of
knowledge explosion, no one can keep themselves away from educating
their children. Knowledge is power and problems solving skills alone is
the thing in demand today. You find learning spelling is the first step
towards exploring the wonderful world of knowledge.
Online and offline toy stores and puzzle games help
you introduce
your kid to the world of letters and numbers. You can find a variety of
spelling games for kids will help your children get a head start in the
formal education process. My wife suggested me teaching our little one
the art of reading. In fact we spent most time reading for her. We are
proud that we introduced her to the world of reading early on. As usual
we wanted to give her the simplest books with big letters and bigger
pictures so that she would see a book as something to enjoy. Leap Frog
books came handy help so that we could easily introduce her to this
amazing world. There are many other spelling games for kids. Just make
a Google search and you will be amazed with the kind of spelling games
for kids.
You make the initial learning process pure fun for
your kids. Even
for adults things learned through fun stays longer in their minds. You
never teach your child, instead you entertain them with the games
–
learning happens in the due time. The only problem seems to be choosing
one or ten spelling games for kids from thousands of available ones. I
feel content for introducing her to the world of reading. Thanks to
Leap Frog books, she gets the highest grades in every class. I am glad
I listened to my wife suggesting that we introduce our kid to the world
of learning as fast as we could and spelling games for kids played a
part in it.

Game Previews and Reviews
by: Andrew M. Lawrence
The Sony PS3 will be the most powerful game console ever
released. The
impressive parallel processing architecture and powerful GPU allows for
arguably the most ambitious releases on a console ever. Certainly, the
graphics and performance the system will deliver will outstrip that of
its more prudent competitors, Xbox 360, and Nintendo's Wii. It should
come as no surprise then, that many of the most anticipated titles of
2007 will launch on the PS3, some on multiple platforms, others
exclusively. As impressive as the hardware is, it's really not
important in the scheme of things; what really matters is what games
you can actually play!
The PS3 is costly enough as it is, and as with
anything else you
invest in, you wouldn't want to do it before reading up on it first.
What better way to do that, than to check out some PS3 game previews?
Generally speaking, the best sources of PS3 previews will come from
those websites and magazines that have generally covered PS2 and the
original PS from the outset. General gaming sites like Gamespy/IGN,
Gamespot, 1up, and GamesIndustry.biz are generally good sources of
quick, easy to read news, game previews, and reviews. The quality
varies, but what is common to each of these is that they will compare
their subject matter to the competition. In this case, exclusive PS3
titles would be compared against games on Xbox 360 and Wii in any PS3
game review.
If you're already a fan, and you're set on having a
PS3, you might
prefer PS3 reviews from sites that deal with nothing else. Dedicated
community fansites tend to have active discussion forms full of
analysis of every last detail. More to the point, the staff who run
such sites are generally fans themselves, and are just as interested in
the system and games they post about, which is usually reflected in
their reporting. Sites like PSXextreme, PSrules, PS3 Power, and PS3
Land are all good sources of PS3 game previews. Naturally, there aren't
any PS3 reviews out yet, but these sites are already geared up and
equipped to start posting them as soon as they hit the shelves in
November.
Anticipated titles at release time will include the
fourth game in
the ever popular Gran Turismo series, Madden 07, Vampire's Rain,
Crysis, Fatal Inertia, MotorStorm, Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty 3,
NBA Live 07, Need for Speed: Carbon, Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire,
Resistance: Fall of Man, and F.E.A.R. Also keep in mind that the PS3 is
going to be widely backwards compatible with older PS and PS2 games,
which you'll be able to buy from Son'y PNP service, if you don't
already have them – one of the major selling points! For your
PS3, game
reviews already written will be just as useful. Finally, going back
even further, Sony has announced that a wide variety of Sega Genesis
(MegaDrive) games will be also be compatible with the PS3, opening up
yet more games to its repertoire.

of Cheap Digital Cameras
by: Morgan HamiltonDo
you take a lot of pictures? I have come to realize the
advantages of taking photos recently. The pictures we take of our lives
and the moments our children have growing up are our sole link to
reminiscing. They are literal snapshots of time and can never be
replaced. We do have our memories of course, but
they can and do fade
away over time. The mind can also forget certain details that a photo
never relinquishes. Thank God for the photograph. One of the major
factors regarding picture-taking now days is the method. While there
used to be only one, things have changed for the better. The
digital camera has turned out to be an innovation that has
really made picture taking an incredible experience. We can now take
virtually an unlimited amount of pictures without ever having to worry
about wasted film and reloading. It all centers around the computer. We
simply plug in our digital cameras, upload the photos and we're done.
Have you had any experience using this technology? Check out a variety
of cheap digital cameras at any of your local superstores. They are
quite easy to master and the memories are well worth it.
A great place to shop for cheap digital cameras is
on the
Internet. You can really get great deals there and there is plenty to
choose from. Brands such as Canon, Kodak, Sony, and Toshiba all offer a
wide range of products. In just a short time on the World Wide Web deal
have more cheap digital cameras to choose from than you could shake a
stick and. It's impossible to not notice how much easier the digital
camera is to use over the old-school models.
For one thing there are no more journeys to the
photo
developer. That in itself is a great plus. You also have to master
control over what photographs stay and which are deleted. While cameras
using film only grant you with tangible pictures, digital cameras allow
you to save any and all pictures onto your computer. As for the ones
you don't like, you simply discard them, no film wasted here. You can
also download your photos onto your computer. This
allows you to send them to whomever you wish. Maybe your
folks want some new pictures of the granddaughter. Just attach them to
an e-mail as a file and zip them straight through. It doesn't cost you
a dime. With the addition of a color printer and some high-quality
photo paper you can also print them out and do whatever you wish with
them. You really have a lot of options and that's always a good thing.
Are you currently looking for cheap digital cameras?
Maybe you
haven't really given them a whole lot of thought. It really is a
wonderful tool that I'm sure I will give you quite a bit of joy. Let's
face it, pictures can actually record our memories and outlast us. One
glance at an old photo and you go straight back to that particular
occasion. So hold onto those experiences forever with a cheap digital
camera. |
